How to Use

Shake well before use. Put a dime-sized amount of cleanser on your skin and massage in for a few seconds to loosen and remove make up and grime. Then add lukewarm water, work up a milky lather and massage for a minute into skin. Rinse well or remove with damp cloth. Use in the evening to remove grime, sunscreen and makeup, and in the morning to guard against oxidative stress.
Keep in a cool place. If irritation develops, discontinue use and consult your physician.

Radical Fragrance Transparency. This means the fragrance ingredients are fully disclosed to you (not hidden behind the word "fragrance", which is the norm). All ingredients are included in the section above.

This fragrance is comprised of (Click on a fragrance category for more info):

Essential Oils

x

Essential Oils

Authentic essential oils are physically extracted by steam or expression (cold pressing) of the skin of the fruit. Essential oils have not been chemically altered (via reaction, solvent extraction) from their natural state.

Certified Organic Fragrance

x

Certified Organic Fragrance

A blend of essential oils (see above) derived from plants that are grown in accordance with the USDA National Organic Program.

Natural Fragrance

x

Natural Fragrance

Natural fragrances are mixtures of aromatic raw materials. As opposed to a whole essential oil found in a plant, these chemicals are physically isolated from natural compounds, then blended together to create a scent. If only natural isolates are used, companies can declare the scent “natural.”

Naturally-Derived Fragrance

x

Naturally-Derived Fragrance

Fragrance ingredients that have been extracted using solvents (alcohol, petrochemicals, vegetable oils), or extracted by fermentation, or ingredients which may have a natural component but have been significantly processed.

Synthetic Fragrance

x

Unfragranced/Unscented

Ingredients which are new molecules, made in a laboratory. The majority of synthetic constituent ingredients are from petroleum byproducts. Synthetic “nature-identical” ingredients fall into this category as well. Credo allows synthetic fragrances as long as there are no Dirty List components.

What's Behind "Fragrance"?

US law does not require that companies be transparent about the ingredients in fragrance/parfum. Credo believes in your right-to-know. We require all brands to categorize the fragrance in each product (see chart above), and encourage brands to fully disclose all scent ingredients.

All products are cruelty-free and formulated without ingredients on The Dirty List™️. At Credo, "clean" goes even deeper. Learn more.

Collaborating with her physicist and bio-medical engineer daughter, Jay Nadeau, to carefully choose each ingredient in every product solving real skin issues and address aging at the source.
