African Botanics Retinal Night Cream is a multi-tasking night treatment that utilizes regenerative active ingredients to help repair skin damage and boost density while helping to increase moisture and elasticity. This face cream is powered by retinaldehyde, a bio-active form of vitamin A that gradually and effectively converts to retinoic acid within the skin in one step. Retinaldehyde is known to be less irritating when compared to other retinoids. It has strong antioxidant and antibacterial properties, and helps to boost and protect collagen while working to increase cell turnover. Additionally, this moisturizing cream is formulated with white willow bark, lactic acid, azelaic acid and fulvid acid to help minimize the appearance of pores and improve the appearance of scarring and sun spots. Retinal Night Cream targets fine lines and wrinkles, blemishes, pigmentation and uneven texture for healthy, smooth and visibly youthful skin.

What is an undertone?
An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:
Pink/Cool
I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.
Neutral
I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.
Yellow/Warm
I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage
Use PM Only. Application of the Retinal Night Cream should be introduced gradually and only used overnight. For optimum results apply a large pea-sized amount over clean, dry face, neck and décolletage. Allow to absorb before applying a face oil or a moisturizer if needed. Use twice a week for the first 2 weeks, every other night for the next 2 weeks, then every night. Caution: Always use a broad spectrum sunscreen during the day and limit sun exposure while using this product. Avoid using with other retinoid treatments. Patch testing prior to use is recommended if skin is sensitive. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Not suitable for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
