An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage

Apply to clean, dry underarms — damp skin reduces effectiveness. Reapply as needed.

First time? For best results, remove existing build up by gently exfoliating and skipping antiperspirant or deodorant for 1 to 2 weeks. To prevent future build up, their water-based formula rinses off easily with regular washing.

"Used the Tulum scent which smells nice, not overpowering and gender neutral. Works well except it infuriatingly ruined my washable silk blouse. I’ve washed it three times now and the oily type stain has not budged. Super disappointed."

Goes on nicely and actually works!

"I was using Humble which certainly scents worked for me (some did not) but it leaves a residue on clothing. This deodorant has been fantastic to eliminate odor and doesn’t seem to be leaving any residue on my clothing. The sample size is perfect for travel. The packaging works well, stays shut when flopping around in a bag but is easy to open and it doesn’t have a cheap feel. The fragrances are nice (I do like some more than others) but they’re not overpowering and you don’t notice them after a short amount of time but you also don’t get smelly!"

Basic scents, formula was irritating

"I was excited to try these because the scent descriptions sounded exciting and unlike what you typically find in deodorant, but when they arrived I was disappointed to find that they smell fine but not really anything special, pretty in line with other natural deodorant brands I have tried. After a few days of use my armpits started getting irritated and itchy and I had to stop using this product. I have used exclusively natural deodorants for 20 years now and have tried many brands and have only had this happen one other time. Of course everyone's skin reacts differently and I don't want to say it's a bad product because I reacted to it but I wanted to mention it because I don't usually have super sensitive armpits."
