At Credo Beauty, we do permit the use of synthetic fragrances in our clean perfume selection if they are deemed to be less harmful to the environment and have a strong safety profile. We recognize that some customers prefer natural over synthetic options, which is why all of our scented products are clearly labeled with their fragrance type. We also encourage the brands we work with to provide full ingredient disclosure for their fragranced products (this is part of our Fragrance Transparency Policy).

At Credo Beauty, the clean spicy fragrances we carry are free from the 2700+ potentially harmful ingredients itemized on our Dirty List (this includes many irritants, allergens and harsh chemicals). As a result, our clean spicy fragrances tend to be better suited for sensitive skin. However, it’s important to note that sensitivities to fragrances can vary, so it’s worth doing a patch test before using a new perfume.
