Marie Veronique′ s Soothing B3 Serum is part of the first collaboration between Kristina Holey, celebrated skin care specialist, and Marie Nadeau, the amazing formulator behind Marie Veronique. The first products in the Kristina Holey and Marie Veronique line (also including Marie Veronique Intensive Repair Serum) are designed to address common skin conditions.

Key ingredients

Niacinamide (vitamin B3): Reduces inflammation by improving barrier function and stimulating ceramide production.
Panthenol: Very hydrating/moisturizing, deeply penetrative.
Licorice root: Brightens skin, reduces hyperpigmentation and age spots, anti-inflammatory.
Green tea extract: The major and most highly chemopreventive constituent in green tea, the catechin possess antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Knotgrass flavonoids: Enhances skin firmness and elasticity and boosts skin cell turnover rate.

What is an undertone?

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage

Use AM and PM. Shake well. Apply a thin layer after cleansing and misting. Follow with an application of one of our recommended oil blends, such as Treatment Oil or Rejuvenating Night Oil.

Pro-tip

If sensitive to Niacinamide you may initially experience a mild flush and redness which will quickly dissipate leaving the skin calm. This generally decreases over repeated use as the skin strengthens. If you experience severe flushing or irritation develops discontinue use and consult a physician. Keep in a cool place out of direct sunlight. Use within 6 months of opening.

Great serum, haven't seen any noticeable benefits yet

"This is a great, lightweight moisturizing serum. I've been using it for 2 weeks consistently at night, and haven't noticed any remarkable benefits, however I'm giving it more time as my skin seems to like it. I've had no breakouts and skin appears more dewy. One thing to note is that the smell is pretty bad after you use the first couple pumps. To combat this, I shake the bottle prior to application. This seems to have helped a little with the unpleasant scent, but the good news is that it doesn't linger on your skin."
