An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.

Yellow/Warm

"I've been very curious about/very interested in supporting this Mexico-based, clean beauty, and eco-friendly brand--and I want to love this product. But I don't--I can't because while it is moisturizing, it only lasts on the lips for about 45 seconds, then it is gone. Won't be repurchasing--but I will check out other products from this line, as I'd still like to support them. Hopefully their other goods are more effective."

Great lip serum!

"It’s a very well done lip serum. I like using it as a topper or alone to just hydrate. I got the sheer pink color and it’s perfect for a natural lip look. It can get a little goopy if you over apply. Best applied on exfoliated lips for a smooth application. I would definitely get this in more shades. The packaging was also very cute. The lip serum itself is small and compact. Fits well in my small makeup bag. I find myself reaching for this more than my other well loved lip products. Would recommend"

"This color and shine is absolutely STUNNING and the packaging is nice and hefty too! It’s truly really is hydrating. I got the shade 03 and the color payoff is beautiful and feels just like a lip balm. It definitely has a slight minty feel and smell too it, I can definitely see myself buying more colors. This product is definitely for someone who wants something simple and easy to apply without having to fill in their lips with lipliner or gloss. This simply gives you enough color, hydration and shine."

Love this lippie

"I love the sleek packaging of this lip serum. It has a peppermint scent/taste to it which I really like. The shade is a very pretty sheer pink shade with a slight glossy look. I have dry lips so I always keep a lippie on hand, and this one is great. It nourishes and hydrates my lips and is very lightweight. It keeps my lips nourished for several hours before I need to reapply. I didn’t notice a difference in plumpness or any cooling or stinging sensation from the peppermint. I would definitely repurchase again."

"I looove this lip serum from Aora. It’s a perfect pinky nude that is great for any occasion. Feels like a mix between a gloss, balm, and lip stick. It hydrates the lips while adding subtle color. Compact packaging for travel and for my purse. I would definitely buy this product again! It looks great on top of liner, on its own, or underneath gloss depending on the occasion. It melts onto your lips and has that smooth buttery feel. I had never heard of this brand but am super impressed and would recommend!"

Love this unique lip serum

"I really love the Aora Acaríciame lip serum! I got the shade Rosa . 02. It’s a pale transparent pale pink shade. What’s cool, is once you put it on your lips it adjusts to your ph and becomes this beautiful natural lip blush shade with a pretty shine. The formula glides on so smooth like butter and feels so hydrating. The scent is a soft chocolate peppermint. I really love  it! It’s going to be a staple in my purse rotation. My next purchase will be the Vanta 02 shade! Oh and the packaging is recyclable!"

Super versatile

"I love how hydrating this product is! It’s also a gorgeous color and looks perfect with a lip liner. It’s the perfect pinky base to use plain as well. Almost like “your natural lip but better. ” I also like how buildable it is so if you want a sheer look you’d only need one swipe but for a more tinted look you could add more. The only thing that could improve is the packaging. It gets a little greasy on my fingers whenever I twist for more product which is where I have it 4/5 stars instead of 5/5 stars"

"This is a great lip balm. It is not too mushy and not too solid. it is just the right sonsistency, the smell is not overbearing and the texture is extremely moisturizing. I have put in in my purse to keep when needing a mid day refresh and my lips feel dry. love this brand and will probably buy more shades when i finish this one. my lips feel silky smooth, moisturized and hydrated even on the hottest of days. i highly recommend if looking for more of a solid type lip item rather than a liquid or gloss."

"I tried the AORA ACARICIAME Solid Lip Serum in the shade Rosa 03. It provides the benefits of a lip serum with the shine of a lip gloss. It does not feel sticky (great for windy days!) or heavy, and provides a sheer finish. Rosa 03 being a nude shade does not provide a lot of color of course but I like the shiny finish. It also smooths out lip lines. I also like that the brand is plastic-free. For anyone looking for a daily nourishing lip serum that doubles as a lip gloss, this is a product that I will recommend."

"I liked the ACARICIAME Solid Lip Serum. It hydrates and smooths out my lips nicely and provides a nice shiny look, so it doubles as a lip balm and lip gloss. It does not feel sticky or heavy and leaves the lips feeling moisturized for a long time. The one I used (Rosa 02) is sheer but also gives this subtle cute pink color that is buildable . Overall, good daily use lip product that acts as both a pigmented gloss and balm. Provides intense shine and hydration, without feeling sticky or heavy on the lips."
