An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.

My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

"I have been looking for a nontoxic version of the glossier brow flick for YEARS. Not kidding. So far, I've found nothing that compares, and now Glossier no longer sells it. My biggest problem with pencils (vs the felt pen style) is that they look blocky and chalky. Well, this one doesn't! It is nearly perfect, I just miss drawing individual hairs. But, this is pretty damn close to perfect and very naturla."

"I don’t use brow pencils, I usually just dab on brown mascara. This one, though, has a thin non breaking stable shape that easily fills in areas without looking off from the skin or the hair and, as a bonus, I love using it to line my eyes. Next time I’ll try a darker color. Love this, it’s so easy to use, looks great, stays on. Multi purpose."
