This lightweight hydrating SPF30 Daily Moisturizer is enriched with Hyaluronic Acid and Squalane to restore skin’s natural moisture barrier and antioxidants Sea Buckthorn, Astaxanthin and Vitamins C&E to protect against free radicals and ensure your skin looks radiant and glowing. Formulated to blend in to all skin seamlessly it protects skin from the harmful effects of UV and all the elements (wind, salt water, pollution and temperature extremes).

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage

Us every day, regardless of the perceived level of sun.

Fifteen minutes before going out in the sun apply product directly to face and body.

Dot evenly across dry skin in pea-sized dots

Gently massage it in skin until it is fully absorbed and all traces disappear

Reapply every 2 hours, or immediately after spending time swimming or sweating. Ensure skin is toweled dry for applying.

Relax knowing your sun protection is performing as well as you are.

Solid choice!

"What's good - moisturizing but not greasy, feels high quality, decent amount for the price given the added antioxidants. I disagree that there's zero cast, but it's more like a blurring effect than "white" so doesn't give that weird ghostly appearance What's neutral - The packaging makes it difficult to control how much comes out. This type of tube tends to shoot out excess product, which if fine when I'm not in a rush, but means I end up wasting product when using it on the go. What's lousy - When I wear this over serums, it pills. Wearing it solo is great, but if I put on (for example) a vit c serum for some extra antioxidant protection, it pills like crazy. I can more or less still get it to sink in so I'm still getting SPF results, but the serum underneath basically comes off. Not being able to layer means I can't wear it for daily use so I mostly use it for lazy days. My husband (who also uses serums but is less consistent about layering) enjoys wearing it as a one-and-done product"

great sunscreen, no white tint

"I really like this sunscreen. I used to use Kinship but it became hard to get (out of stock all the time) so I had to switch it up. I just started using Utu a few weeks ago and so far it goes on easily with no white cast and leaves a dewy finish that becomes more matte once you have it on for a while. I wish that it stayed more dewy throughout the day but that's fine. I don't wear foundation so I can't comment on how it wears in that respect, but it's great for everyday under concealer and a little cream blush. The cap is a little small and not super easy to screw back on but that's a minor ding, not a deal breaker."

Best Zinc Sunscreen

"I have tried SO many different zinc sunscreens over the past decade, as I work outside and need the best protection I can get. This sunscreen goes on smoothly, works very well, and doesn’t leave a thick white cast like most zinc sunscreens. It also doesn’t dry my skin out like they usually do. The fully recyclable packaging is a great bonus!"
