An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

I really like this powder but. . .

"I really like this powder, I have purchased it a couple times, but I had to remove a star because, no matter how careful I am, the lid always breaks off from the base. I have never dropped it. It breaks from opening and closing it. It has a poor design and the plastic splits off the small metal bar. I wish they would change the design because I am left with one that is almost full and need to always wrap a rubber band around it as I only have a spot for it in my makeup drawer organizer where it stands on its' side. Other than the inconvenience, the powder works well."

Easiest setting powder!

"This Cloud Set Baked Setting & Smoothing Powder is exactly what I want out of a setting powder! I apply it with a little fluffy finger sponge and it really is smoothing. It's lovely because it's not cakey at all. I had been struggling with setting powder for, like, years now and my loose setting powders have sort of just been taking up space in my makeup drawer or bag because I just can't bring myself to use them effectively. This is a great solution! Really effective product."

A favorite of mine

"They mean it when they say “shine control, not glow control”. I’ve stopped using setting powder except for in my T zone. This stuff is fantastic. The texture is perfect and it never makes my skin look cakey. I’m tempted to try the pink brightening shade, but the translucent has always just worked so well for me, it’s hard to break away. Only downside is the packaging uses a lot of plastic."
