An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.

Yellow/Warm

Apply to eyelids using fingertips or a brush like the RMS Skin2Skin Everything Eye Polish Brush. Begin at the center of the lid and blend outward. Fast-drying so blend swiftly.

"I'm still learning how to use it. The formulation has changed slightly and it dries down very quickly and doesn't budge so I can't blend it out very easily. Do love the staying power though, and the color (I've used Moondust and Blaze). Does not irritate my eyes at all."

"A little goes a looong way and the product dries very quickly and stays put as far as I could tell. I purchased the RMS Eyelights Cream Eyeshadow as I had read good reviews and wanted something quick and easy to highlight my eyes. I do like the product, although, I chose the wrong color for me. The color Strobe looked beautiful on the RMS representative onsite but it looks terrible on me (lesson learned! Always try the product, first!). Too much effervescence settling into my eyelids. I hope to exchange the color for something more subtle and less disco-y."

Would maybe use as costume makeup. . . nothing more

"I really didn't like this product, even though I was so excited for it. First off, it does not go on smoothly. It is clumpy and accentuates fine lines. A brush doesn't apply it evenly and using a finger puts too much on. For everyday use it is really heavy and not the elegant flash of shimmering gold/silver you would want. The only use I see is possibly for clubbing, at least it will last several hours, but I would only use it in low light where no one is actually looking at your makeup. Definitely more costume vibes than anything."
