What is an undertone?

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage

Open the lip gloss and hold the wand with the inside curve facing toward your lips

Starting in the middle of your upper lip, follow your natural lip line to the corners

Repeat with your bottom lip

Pro-tip

Add a little more product at the center of your lips for a plumper look or on top of one of our lip balms for an extra shiny finish

"Comfortable gloss- not overly sticky. I bought the shade Kanna (cherry with cool undertones), and it's exactly as pictured on the website. Depending on what I'm wearing, it sometimes looks like it has a brownish-berry red color. Upon application it's a gorgeous cranberry, then it morphs into the red seen on the website. My lips are much more hydrated since using this. Highly recommend!"
