To see one’s double was once considered deeply unsettling, not because it was violent or grotesque, but because it was familiar. Almost correct. Close enough to confuse the body before the mind could intervene. Doppelgänger is composed as an olfactory replication.
At its core are supernatural musks designed to echo human warmth: soft, saline, faintly animal. Sheer woods, pale and abstract, give structure without solidity, creating the impression of form without weight, the suggestion of you, rather than a reflection. The result is uncannily intimate, as though something is walking alongside you, mimicking your movements just slightly out of sync.

What is an undertone?
An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:
Pink/Cool
I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.
Neutral
I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.
Yellow/Warm
I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.

Usage
Heretic Parfum fragrances are gender-neutral and made for everyone.
Application: They use plant-based natural ingredients, which means the scents are light and sheer. To increase staying power, you’ll want to apply the fragrance periodically throughout the day.
Layering: We also encourage you to layer two to three Heretic fragrances not only to increase the overall intensity but to help you create your next signature scent. Choose heavy and lighter blends to layer together, spraying or dabbing the stronger scent first.

First Encounter: Vapor Cold citrus and spectral aromatics vanish against the skin. Heart: Echo Soft florals and restrained spice return in waves, intimate and strangely familiar. Residual Haunting: Skin Pale woods and diffuse musks linger like the trace of another body.

HERETIC PARFUM began with the choice to go against the grain and do something different. Our perfumes are composed of essential oils, absolutes, and concretes that are blended in organic, non-GMO grape and sugarcane alcohols using the same process used by perfumers hundreds of years ago - before synthetics took over the industry. The olfactory fingerprint of each individual plant, where it was grown and how it grew, gives these scents their character, mystery and beauty. These rare, authentic materials go far beyond the ‘cosmetic’ department and into the realms of homeopathy, ayurveda , mysticism and herbology.
