Essence 27 is an ultra-light, non-greasy serum that concentrates five hydrating and anti-dehydration actives to replenish and lock in the skin’s water reserves. A multi-weight hyaluronic acid complex plumps and smooths, lysine aspartate (an energizing amino acid) helps revive tired-looking skin, and vitamin C with centella asiatica brightens and soothes. Skin looks plumper, fresher, and more radiant, and is better protected against daily dehydration and environmental stress. Use morning and evening. 98% naturally derived, 19% active ingredients, made in France.

What is an undertone?
An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:
Pink/Cool
I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.
Neutral
I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.
Yellow/Warm
I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage
- Apply morning and evening to clean skin, before your treatment cream.
- For deeper hydration, mix with Baume 27 in your palm.
- Avoid the eye area and irritated skin.
Pro-tip
- Blend a 5/7 drops into any C27 cream to turn it into a more hydrating, plumping treatment.
- Blending the formula help optimum penetration of the formulas.
- Summer tip from the founder, Michèle Evrard: Blend a pipette of Essence 27 with a few drops (to like) of Huile 27 (she uses half/half!) to make the best hydrating and nourishing protective day wear fluid. It brings a beautiful summer glow.

Fragrance
The name of the line fragrance is Bois Apaisant, precisely because our founder, who worked on fragrance creation for many years, wanted something that was light, subtl, almost unfragranced, natural and highly comforting. The fragrance heart is around woodsy notes (patchouli, atlas cedar, gaiac wood) and rose isolate, top notes include chamomile, basil, sage a cocoon, reassuring scent that is part of the product benefits and feel, soothing, apeasing and restoring All of Cosmetic 27's regenerating and soothing formulas are scented with bois apaisant; we use very low concentrations – from 0.1% to 0.2%, it lingers briefly on the skin.
