What is an undertone?

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage

Apply to clean skin, being sure to avoid the eye area. Leave on for 20 minutes then rinse off thoroughly with warm water and pat dry.

Smells rancid and not enough power

"The good - decent price point for quantity, removes excess oil without overly stripping, applies easily, washes off easily The bad - Pretty sure the product has rancid ingredients. I thought I was being overly picky about the scent but read this in other reviews, too. I don't think it's a "bad" smell issue so much as some of the ingredients have spoiled. Also, the product is generally underwhelming. Yes, it removes excess oil, but so does my regular face wash so this doesn't really add anything. It doesn't have any additional benefit to my skin and doesn't have a "detox" effect or make much difference on congestion."

"I really like this mask. I have sensitive skin and appreciate that it is not overly scented. And a couple of times I've used it so far, it excels at decongesting pores. I'm not sure that it has a very strong exfoliating effect, but overall, it's working really well"
