An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.

Usage

- Apply the oil to dry hair prior to shampooing.

- Gently massage the product into your scalp and ensure it fully covers your hair from root to tip.

- Leave the product on for at least 45 minutes. For best results, leave it for 2+ hours.

- Shampoo and condition your hair as normal. For finer hair textures, a double cleanse is recommended. (Opt for a non-sulfate shampoo)

- Use the treatment 1-2 times a week, ideally for a 90-day duration.
*Hair types 3b to 4c have the option to use this treatment as a leave-in product.

How to use our oil for thirsty hair

If you have damaged or coarse hair you can leave the oil treatment overnight for an extra hydration.

Nice oil

"I use this in conjunction with the dermal roller. I haven’t noticed much difference but it’s too soon to tell as far as regrowth but it feels nice and keeps my ends moisturized. I’ll often use it for a slick back bun for work. This is my replacement for the agent nateur hair oils that have been discontinued (unfortunately that’s where my hair oil journey began and I noticed a difference with it, so of course it’s morphed into different formats). This particular bottle smelled a bit off as if it had oxidized. It’s only my second bottle the first one I’d purchased was directly from bur bur and it smelled fresher/citrusy. It didn’t degrade the efficacy of it just an observation."

"I don’t see a huge difference after using 3 bottles in two months but not giving up and on my 4th bottle. Directions say to use for 90 days but once a week so not sure if that means 90 times or once a week for 3 months. I made the mistake of using the oil every time I shampooed ( twice a week) and it irritated my scalp a bit. I understand that clearing the scalp is part of the process of encouraging hair growth. Not sure if the oil is causing my hair color to fade. I am shedding less and not sure if its the oil or a combo of the shampoo and conditioner too. I would not recommend the conditioner. Haven’t tried it as a styling oil or to tame frizz yet because it seems a little greasy for me but will try it sparingly."

"This is my second purchase of this hair oil, and I love it so much!
