Usage
MINI GROWING SEASON BURDOCK HAIR OIL:
- Apply the oil to dry hair prior to shampooing.
- Gently massage the product into your scalp and ensure it fully covers your hair from root to tip.
- Leave the product on for at least 45 minutes. For best results, leave it for 2+ hours.
- Shampoo and condition your hair as normal. For finer hair textures, a double cleanse is recommended. (Opt for a non-sulfate shampoo)
- Use the treatment 1-2 times a week, ideally for a 90-day duration.
*Hair types 3b to 4c have the option to use this treatment as a leave-in product.
GROWING SEASON NOURISHING SHAMPOO:
- Soak your hair and scalp with warm water to open the cuticle and help the shampoo lather.
- Dispense a quarter-size amount (adjust for hair length) into your palm and emulsify slightly between your hands.
- Work into the scalp using your fingertips for 1–2 minutes to cleanse and boost circulation.
- Let the lather travel through the lengths; no need to rub the ends.
- Rinse with lukewarm water until hair feels clean.
- For extra buildup or after styling products, we recommend a second wash.
GROWING SEASON NOURISHING CONDITIONER:
- Start with freshly washed hair using Growing Season Nourishing Shampoo to remove buildup and prep hair to absorb moisture.
- Squeeze out excess water and smooth a generous amount of conditioner through the mid-lengths and ends. Avoid the scalp to keep volume at the roots.
- Leave on for 2–3 minutes so the plant-based proteins, squalane, and botanical extracts can hydrate, strengthen, and smooth.
GROWING SEASON DEEP REPAIR HAIR MASK:
- Start with freshly shampooed hair to remove buildup and allow the mask’s nutrients to absorb fully.
- On damp hair, work a generous amount through mid-lengths and ends, ensuring even coverage.
- Leave on for 5–10 minutes so botanical oils, plant proteins, and butters can replenish moisture and help fortify strands.
- Rinse with cool or lukewarm water until hair feels soft and residue-free.

- How to use our oil for thirsty hair: If you have damaged or coarse hair you can leave the oil treatment overnight for an extra hydration.

- For best results, pair BUR BUR shampoo with the Growing Season Nourishing Conditioner to lock in hydration and enhance shine.

- Use the Growing Season Deep Repair Mask 1-2x per week or as needed for intensive nourishment. Consistent use helps strengthen hair fibers and improve resilience over time, leaving strands smoother, softer, and more resistant to breakage.
- For gentle, breakage-minimizing detangling, glide the Mermaid Detangling Brush through damp hair while the mask is on or immediately after rinsing.
