An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

Usage

Twist bottom of the unique component just once until it clicks, then gently glide across lips. Use the tube’s edge as a guide for flawless application. Can be worn alone or with a lip liner. For a more subtle look, use fingers to gently tap color onto lips.

Gorgeous Lasting Coverage!

"Gorgeous balm and lasting coverage. I love the shape of the lipstick because it is the right fit and it only takes one click to get the right amount of lipstick. I like to apply the lipstick and let it settle for 5 minutes and then I blot it with a tissue. I use my finger to gently but firmly evenly spread the remainder lipstick on my lips and the end result is a pigmented, attractive, matte pout."

"I bought 2 lipsticks. The product is good, looks good and nice colors, but the mechanics of the stick are ridiculous. It only turns one way so if you raise it too high you can’t get it to retract back down. I don’t understand the thinking behind the design and it should be more clear on the packaging."

Nice but. . .

"I live overseas and was in search of good, clean, quality lipsticks. It was a gamble when ordering the colors for me. . . no matter how many online clips I watched to make sure that I select the right lip shades for my complexion, in the end I made a mistake. >. Both Eve and Mae do not work for my skin tone. I wish RMS made a small sample set of these nude series for their customers to explore with before buying the real lipsticks."

With 77-year-old dry, wrinkled lips,

"With 77-year-old dry, wrinkled lips, I've been hunting for a lipstick that lasts longer than lip balms but also hydrates, adds a bit of color to my face, and has healthier ingredients. I purchased the shade Eve from the Nudes collection. While it's less "serum-y" than I'd hoped, if I apply a colorless lip balm or oil first, then the lipstick, it lasts quite a while, adds color without being too loud, and doesn't dry out my lips. The "rosy/red/nude" color adds a bit of color to my lips; that of course depends on the natural color beneath any shade. It's important to remember that the "click-up" tube goes only one way: up. So it's not possible to retract the stick. One click up usually lasts me for several applications."
