What is an undertone?

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Natural look and clean ingredients

"Happy to see a clean version!!"

Alena (5/5)

pretty good but not amazing

"it gets the job done but it's not incredible"

Justine S. (3/5)

Love the product but the format isn’t great

"I love this highlighter but I agree with the issues everyone else noted — crayon broke in half and makes it difficult to use, paper container damages the crayon every time I close it, have to warm it up for it to work so you use a bit up just getting it to apply properly. The Pearl white finish was exactly what I was looking for in a highlighter as it’s not too sparkly but provides a nice, matte sheen."

Eleanor M. (3/5)

Didn’t work for what I’d wanted

"This is probably a good product if you intend to use it just as a cheek highlighter. I wanted to use it mainly on my eyelids in place of an eyeshadow and it wasn’t too hard/not smooth enough to apply to a sensitive area. It’s also an extremely small product! Not necessarily an issue I can imagine it lasts a while but I don’t know. I returned it (thanks, Credo, for your simple and easy return policy!)"

Katie H. (2/5)

Still deciding…

"I really love the color and how pigmented this is, I only have to use a stroke or two to get the highlight I want! The only downside is that sometimes it doesn’t apply perfectly in the crease of my eyelid…"

Becca M. (4/5)

I like the idea of

"I like the idea of this product but mine cracked in half and really doesn’t have that much color at all. It doesn’t do much"

Diana G. (1/5)

The slight bit of shimmer

"The slight bit of shimmer when the light catches my cheek bone is perfection with this highlighter. It is a tiny bit of a guy-about an inch so keep the box it came in."

Jaime M. (5/5)

I bought this as a

"I bought this as a cheap alternative to the rms beauty luminizer. I really like the price and the minimal packaging. I purchased the frosting shade and it doesn’t show up very well. I might try a darker shade next time. It can be a bit difficult to apply if you don’t warm it up first. And the color payoff is not as good as rms beauty. But considering what you get for the price, it’s worth a try"

Nicole K. (4/5)

great

"not that shiney though"

Fiala (4/5)

Easy to use, adds a

"Easy to use, adds a little zhuzh. I got 2 neutral colors to use on eyelids. Saleswoman at the store was helpful. They do settle into creases after a while even after powdering first, but can be easily smudged back out."
