What is an undertone?

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Better than a BeautyBlender

"Gosh I love this brush. I dragged my feet on purchasing for years since it’s on the more expensive side, but now that I’ve been using it for a few weeks I know it’ll be that ‘workhorse’ brush that I reach for time and time again. I personally use it to pickup product on the back of my hand, then work into the skin - I find that it evenly distributes product and blends into the skin better than a sponge or another type of brush. Comparable to the Artis brushes (if you’re familiar with those) but made without glue and therefore should last longer."

"The brush has a nice weight to it, the bristles are dense and soft, and it feels good in the had. However, it didn’t seem to do anything special with the foundation—it almost just absorbed the product and pushed it around the face, instead of finishing and buffing it.
