Usage

Spray onto all exposed skin and clothing. Don’t skip any spots, those little buggers are sneaky!

Avoid spraying directly on your face (nobody wants bug spray in their eyes). Instead, dispense some onto your palms and gently apply to your face and neck.

Don’t use on cuts, wounds, irritated, or sunburned skin.

Reapply every 4 hours (for ticks) and every 8 hours (for mosquitos).

Pro-tip

For the best protection, rub it in with your hands to make sure everything is evenly coated.

"I tried this repellent spray over the course of a few weeks of summer in NYC, and although I did get a few bites along the way, I think this product is mostly effective. While I wouldn't rely solely on this product on a long/particularly buggy hike, I appreciate the pleasant essential oil base smell, sturdy packaging, and brand's guiding principle of bio-mimicry. I have repurchased the smaller size and look forward to using it again. Do be careful spraying directly on fabrics (dark colours especially), as the oil can leave stains— they do seem to come out easily in the wash though."

"This seems to be effective so far, has a pleasant smell. However, I was very excited about this because it is marketed as being for all ages, but a quick google search shows one of the main active ingredients in this formulation should NOT be applied to children under three years of age."

I think it works

"I’m allergic to mosquito bites so it’s important to me to use a bug spray before going out, and sometimes even indoors. I really use a generous amount and spread it around all my skin to increase the coverage. A fair amount is required to really work, though. I’m rating a 3 because for the generous amount that is needed to use, the smell isn’t great. Though the scent is significantly less intense than other natural bug sprays I’ve tried."
