Heavenly scent

"I use this after showering with the the No. 4 body wash and it's just enough fragrance for everyday. When I want to bump up the scent, I use the No. 4 perfume oil and I'm set! I don't have dry skin, so I don't know if this would be effective for that, but it works great for me."

Buy it for the scent

"I'm fussy about scents, especially anything floral, and I find this is perfectly balanced. However, it doesn't lather much. In fact, I switched from a plastic loofah to a thin silicone body scrubber because the body wash got lost in the loofah. The silicone body scrubber works much better with this body wash and I can get the coverage I need with just one pump of product, but the lather is still minimal. This doesn't dry out my skin, but it doesn't leave it feeling hydrated either. This is where the body lotion in the same scent comes in, and I love how the two layered together produce a lovely light scent that lingers. So, if you don't have high expectations from your body wash other than something that will get you clean and will smell lovely in the process, then get this. If you need anything more than that, or if a rich lather is important to you, you're better off purchasing a different product more focused to your needs."

Lovely packaging and smell

"This is my first and long-anticipated Maison Marie Louise product. The smell of No. 4 is complex, earthy, and somewhat androgynous. Reminds me of Salt and Stone’s sandalwood lotion. The lotion itself is silky smooth and definitely nourishing. I’d probably try a different scent with the next order."
