In 1792 Louis Marie Aubert du Petit Thouars was a pioneer in French botanical history. During the French revolution, he was exiled to Madagascar, La Reunion and the Mauritius islands where he discovered a vast array of plant specimens. Ten years later and bearing a collection of over 2000 plants, Louis Marie was finally able to return to France where he was elected a member of the prestigious Académie des Sciences.

"I passed over this deo for a long time, and wish I hadn't. I've tried almost all the other brands at credo. Most smell fine, but tend to leave residue or aren't long lasting. This on is so perfect!! Earthy sensual scent, completely clear, absorbs and dries instantly, AND works as well as an antiperspirant. I don't sweat or stink at all! So happy I finally tried it. I've already bought a 2nd as a backup."

"I use the oil/perfume and LOVE the scent. So when I discovered they make this in deodorant form, I was expecting the same level of smell. Instead, this deodorant has the faintest smell — it does have a nice, smooth application and completely clear (no residue). Do I like it, sure but I was hoping for more smell — silly, right? Considering the point of the product is to reduce smells. Love the brand and the smell though."
