What is an undertone?

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage

Each color comes encased in a starry black mirrored compact, inviting artistic experimentation. Apply with fingertips, sponge, or any preferred brush type; swipe in the pan for bold color payoff or dab for a hint of color. When using fingertips or a sponge, tap or bounce to build up color, and swipe to sheer it out. For a soft application, try a fluffy brush and swirl to create a diffused look.

Rituel de Fille is inspired by the magical side of natural ingredients, where pigment is elemental, ceremonial and powerful. Rituel de Fille's lipsticks, lip sheers, eye soots and cream blushes are all carefully handcrafted for uniquely bold, lasting color. Every Rituel de Fille color is obsessively formulated in-house by the Ramos sisters to meet our exacting standards. We approach our formulation like potion-making: we carefully select each pigment, oil and wax for a clear purpose, and develop each color from the ground up to contain the fewest possible ingredients. We use nothing extraneous, and avoid fillers.

Great cool toned & muted colors

"I have these in desire, intuition, and omen. All very good muted cool toned shades which are difficult to find these days!!! Desire is very close to a true mauve, and looks very mauve in the pan or on your fingertips, but I find it blends out a little more rosy than it looks like it will. Still a very lovely blush and if you combine desire with omen it makes it blend out more mauve. These have decent lasting power, but they do fade by the end of the day. I notice it creases on my hooded eyes unless i apply very little and spread it very thin. Overall very happy with these! Just some slight downsides"

How the heck does this stay on your eyes?

"I try to primer I tried wearing it on its own with a primer. All it does is get diluted. Maybe it’s cause my eyeshadow primer is tend to be more fair. Either way I was really expecting a lot out of this and I just feel like it moves around on the skin a lot."

Desire!

"Love Desire, it was my first Credo purchase back in literally 2017. Such a unique shade of mauve, distinctively gray on the lips but so understated and pretty on the eyes and cheeks. The texture is creamy and beautiful, and it blends perfectly. My only gripe is that the packaging it's very sturdy, though it looks gorgeous. Highly recommend this shade for all my fellow very pale neutral/cool girlies!"

"The pigment is gorgeous and long-lasting. A little goes a long way and you can really build it up if you wanted to. I bought nymph and it's the most beautiful shade of red! I was afraid it would clash with my warm medium-toned skin but it doesn't at all. It looks beautiful. I took off one star because of the application. It's not effortless and quick to use for me. It's VERY easy to over-apply and it's a bit difficult to blend on the cheeks, making it a more fussy product than I was hoping for. Because of that, I don't find myself reaching for it often. Likely won't re-purchase but it really is a beautiful product if you're willing to work with it."
