What is an undertone?

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage

Using fingers, brush or a sponge, blend into skin. Apply to under eye area to cover dark circles or wherever any extra coverage is desired. For dehydrated skin, prep skin with beauty oil. For oily skin types, follow with “Un”powder for a long, lasting matte finish.

The Best Concealer Out There

"I've been using this concealer for as long as I can remember. I love it so much, I have multiple pots scattered throughout my makeup bags, purses, etc. I have broken capillaries around my nose and redness on chin and cheeks from mild rosacea. This stuff covers it beautifully and my very sensitive skin has NEVER reacted to it. I seriously love this stuff and cannot live without it. I have multiple colors for different seasons (33 when it's summer, 22. 5 when I'm not fake tan). But the concealer is so good that I could wear either no matter what because it blends in beautifully with anything you use. Love, love, love love! This is one of those products I would only gatekeep if there were some kind of shortage, haha! Otherwise, I want to shout it from the rooftops!"

A Little Different But Works Well

Hello! Vapour's Atmosphere Soft Focus Foundation is a beautiful foundation that also lets your skin breathe. They also make a great Illusionist Concealer, it's nice because you can match the shades of the foundation to the concealer quite easily.
