What is an undertone?

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

"Color just doesn’t show up very well, I have to really draw it on heavy to get it to show up on my eyelids, then it gums up my lashline and makes any mascara I put on after applying it get all weird and clumpy. Really good gray shade, I wish it went on easier"

"I liked this initially, but I ran out within 5 uses and I do not wear a lot of makeup. Once you have used it a few times, the pencil flattens out into a stump and there is no way to sharpen it to allow for easy clean applications. For the price, I expected this to last me at least a few months."
