What is an undertone?

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage

Massage 1-1.5 pumps of Skin Reset Serum into your face, neck and décolletage in the morning and evening.

Pro-tip

Emma's Tip: If you're new to Skin Reset Face Serum I'd recommend just using it 3 - 4 times a week in the morning after you've cleansed and before you put on your moisturiser. It's got a thin texture so it won't cause make-up to pill.

I love the fragrance, but my skin doesn’t

"This stuff is glorious, albeit expensive. However, after a period of time my skin started to react. My esthetician said my barrier is all messed up and I can’t think of any other reason why—I think it’s the added fragrance ingredients this product. Unfortunate, because I loved having my face smell like jasmine. I think I finally have to admit that this one isn’t for me. I love all of EL’s products, but they all have added fragrance ingredients so I’ll probably keep looking for something that’s more friendly for sensitive skin."

Amazing, but it goes fast

"I love this serum. My skin feels balanced, hydrated, and it gives my skin a plump and even texture. I was hoping it would help lighten some of my sun spots, but no such luck after getting through one jar. That's not the reason for the 4 star review, however, the packaging is. I got though this jar in 7 weeks. I've spent the same amount on serums that lasted twice as long with the same usage frequency. The jar dispenses more than you need. I just repurchased a refill, but plan to give the dispenser a half press, or just unscrew the top entirely and dab my finger into the product to make it last longer."
