What is an undertone?
An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:
Pink/Cool
I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.
Neutral
I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.
Yellow/Warm
I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage
Spray once or twice onto clean skin at pulse points such as the wrists, neck, or inner elbows. Allow the fragrance to develop naturally as it warms on the skin.
Pro-tip
Apply to fabric, such as the embroidered serviette which comes with each bottle, for a subtle diffusion that lingers throughout the day.

Serviette is a fine fragrance brand that proposes a return to good taste as a form of cultural capital. Through scent, Serviette takes traditional codes of cultural currency and questions their meanings and associations, thereby creating space to challenge authenticity, and build one’s own idea of “good” taste. Founded in 2024 in New York City, Serviette began with a simple truth: our relationship with "good taste" is both deeply personal and inherently social—a dance between individual identity and cultural currency.
