What is an undertone?
An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:
Pink/Cool
I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.
Neutral
I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.
Yellow/Warm
I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage
Aim the nozzle directly at the brush head and spray 3-5 times or until saturated. Holding the brush by the ferrule, gently rub on a washcloth or towel until clean. Repeat as necessary. Works best with any densely packed makeup brush and any small to medium sized brushes. For long, loose bristle brushes, we recommend Jenny Patinkin Luxury Vegan Makeup Brush Soap.
Pro-tip
Saturate your makeup brush head with Spray Away after each use (or as often as you can) and wipe clean on a washcloth or a towel as the toweling texture allows for a deeper clean. With no drying time needed, you can use your brushes again right away.
