Questionable Ingredients!
"I've been using this cream for 2 years now and lately I've been noticing some eye irritation and I couldn't figure out why so I did some research and a few of the ingredients are irritants. Phenethyl alcohol (also known as phenylethyl alcohol) causes serious eye irritation and can damage ocular tissues depending on its concentration. • Undiluted or Pure Form: Safety data sheets classify pure phenethyl alcohol as a Category 2 eye irritant (H319) that causes serious eye irritation or potential eye damage upon direct contact. • Cosmetic and Diluted Concentrations: In consumer skincare and cosmetic products, phenethyl alcohol is typically used at low concentrations (generally up to 1.0%), where it is well-tolerated and non-irritating for most people. However, accidental direct contact of the concentrated substance with the eye will cause burning, redness, and irritation."
