Mandelic Acid serves as the chemical exfoliant. With a larger molecular size than glycolic acid, it works more gradually — loosening the bonds between dead surface cells while remaining well suited to sensitive or reactive skin. Fermented Sake Extract provides enzymatic exfoliation through naturally occurring kojic acid and enzymes that help dissolve buildup and promote a more even, luminous tone. Ultra-fine rice powder microspheres complete the system with gentle physical exfoliation, polishing the surface without the harshness of traditional scrubs.

To balance this resurfacing action, a reparative hydration matrix continues working well beyond rinsing. Pentavitin™, a plant-derived saccharide, binds to keratin in the stratum corneum to create a lasting moisture reservoir — delivering hydration for up to 72 hours. Allantoin, derived from comfrey, helps encourage healthy cell turnover while soothing skin after exfoliation. Sugarcane-derived squalane replenishes essential lipids and helps reinforce the moisture barrier, while Supercritical Chia Seed Oil nourishes and helps visibly calm the look of irritation. Polysaccharides form a breathable protective veil that helps lock in moisture and support skin that appears softer and beautifully renewed.
