Laura and Connie started Three Ships in 2017 from a humble apartment kitchen and only $4,000. We were frustrated with the state of the beauty industry - overpriced products, green-washing, misleading claims and millions of tons of plastic waste created every year. We knew there had to be a better way, so we set out to create the world’s most transparent, effective, and sustainable natural skincare. Don’t use gel cream but I will consider changing over to gel.

"Overall the gel cream did make my skin more matte and definitely less oily/shiny. It was light weight and felt nice on my skin. No irritations or breakouts. I was hoping that it would help reduce my pores but it didn’t really make a visual difference although my skin does feel more smooth. Gentle scent ( clean/fresh ) texture and weight

"I really liked the product just felt I started getting the lines back on my upper lip. My skin was well hydrated previously to the launch and was hoping the light weight of the gel moisturizer would be better for the oil on my nose and forehead. I do wear glasses and felt my a glasses actually had more greasy build up in the center requiring me to wash them more often. I loved the gentle scent and the texture of this product but was hoping for different results."

"Overall, I’m really impressed! It has a creamy, yogurt-like gel consistency that is a little too heavy for my daytime routine, but perfect as a nighttime moisturizer. My skin felt consistently hydrated and comfortable without feeling greasy. As someone with oily skin, it didn't reduce my natural shine, but it didn't make it worse either. It's a great evening moisturizer for oily and combination skin types who want solid hydration without added oiliness. It smells great, too!"

I had awful breakouts due to testing a fad moisturizer which promised to reduce pores. Within a week my breakouts had gone done and after 2 weeks I did see a reduction in pores! Its also nice and light, my face did not feel greasy.

"I am approaching middle aged and had been facing teenage-like breakouts for a few months. This product came at the right time. By just switching my original moisturizer (which is probably designed for fresh 20-something skin), and adding this gel to my routine, my skin started to heal within a couple weeks. "I typically have oily skin, and by midmorning I am reaching for oil blotting paper. I definitely noticed less oiliness/shiny skin with this product. The only part of my face that is still a bit shiny is my nose, which is minor, compared to my whole face. The product is lightweight, doesn't feel greasy, absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling nice and fresh. Would absolutely recommend this product and would 100% continue to use it!"
