What is an undertone?

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Love this brush with the set

"I am going for an easy, soft eye look lately. I'm 37 and am starting to see aging signs and I watched a bunch of Gucci's videos/tutorials (gah she is so lovely and cute and relatable and helpful)! and she said that she uses this brush to line her eyes instead of using trad eyeliner. It's softer so you have to be patient and realize you're not going to get a huge amount of product all at once, which I actually now LOVE because I make less mistakes. It's the opposite of heavy handed. I feel like I don't mess up my eye makeup now - it just looks more luxe and subtle and more BLENDED without me having to do any work."
