What is an undertone?

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

"This mascara unfortunately requires 2 coats or more to reach its full potential. The first coat feels like nothing gets on your lashes. It’s a bit clumpy if needing to do more than 2 coats. Definitely better for someone that already has curly lashes and wants a lighter look"

Q&A

I’m having difficulty getting traction on my lashes. I bought two tubes of the mascara, one for the home I’m at during the week and one for my weekend home. And I’m having difficulty getting the black to show up thick and lengthening on my thin light eyelashes. Do you have any suggestions? The mascara seems very dry. If I spend time at it I can get a thicker result but it’s not my go to if I’m in a hurry… And I would like it to be my go to!
