Under foundation: On a bare face, apply directly onto the cheeks and buff with a blush to blend.
Over foundation: Using the applicator, apply BYO Blush on a clean brush, then apply straight to the cheeks and buff out to blend. A little goes a long way. Apply more gradually to build the color.
