Why we stand behind it

This exfoliating cleanser is formulated with alpha and beta hydroxy acids and adzuki bean powder for dissolving and removing dead skin cells without risk of microtears. It also works to eliminate pore-clogging factors for those with excess oil production while providing soothing qualities to reduce inflammation and risk of breakouts.

Key ingredients

Lactic acid: An alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that effectively exfoliates, while providing anti-aging benefits such as increasing production of natural ceramides to hold in moisture.
Aduzuki bean powder: Loosens dead skin cells with zero irritation, and imparts a refined polish to the skin. This very fine powder gently exfoliates with a scrubbing action.
Colloidial oat flour: Calms and soothes skin while providing gentle exfoliation.
Willow bark: Eats dead skin cells from the outside in, helps declog pores.
Irish moss powder: Irish moss is a seaweed from the Atlantic Ocean that is harvested for its rich mineral content and its emulsifying properties.

What is an undertone?

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage

Shake well. Dispense one full pump and warm between hands. Using first three fingers, draw small circles over face/neck/chest for 1-2 mins, adding water as needed to create slip. Rinse well and pat dry.
If skin is not thick/oily, limit to 1x/week. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult physician. Keep in a cool, dry place, out of direct light. Use within 6 months of opening.
Sunburn Alert:
AHA/BHAs may increase sun sensitivity.
Daily sunscreen/sun protection advised.
