On the other hand, natural body products, which do not have a legal definition, utilize natural or naturally derived components. Similarly, clean body products lack a formal legal definition. To address this, we have established The Credo Clean Standard™, which prohibits the use of more than 2700 ingredients known to have potentially harmful effects on human health and / or the environment, ensuring the safety and quality of our clean body products.

Clean body products often contain natural and organic ingredients such as plant-based oils, butters, and extracts that provide nourishment and hydration to the skin. Some common examples of beneficial ingredients in clean body products include shea butter, hyaluronic acid, coconut oil, jojoba oil, aloe vera, and essential oils. These ingredients are known for their moisturizing properties and can also offer additional benefits such as anti-inflammatory or anti-aging effects.

At Credo Beauty, we have a strong commitment to eco-friendly practices to mitigate the environmental impact of the beauty industry. Our new bath products adhere to our very own sustainability and packaging guidelines, prioritizing packaging made from recycled, recyclable or biodegradable materials. Moreover, our clean new body products are crafted without the use of harsh chemicals that can contaminate waterways during manufacturing and disposal processes.

Both natural and synthetic fragrances can be deemed clean. This is because, in some cases, synthetic fragrances are more eco-friendly and offer strong safety profiles. However, we understand that some customers have a preference for natural fragrances. That's why all our scented body care products clearly display their fragrance type (in line with our Fragrance Transparency Policy).
