What is an undertone?

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage

Apply onto dry skin. Massage 2 to 3 pumps onto face and neck, then rinse with warm water. Follow with essence. Use AM & PM.
Tata Harper cleansers are treatments meant to be used on dry skin. Dry cleansing maximizes your results, and allows the formula to work properly as it transforms texture twice. First it′s a gel in our signature green, as you work it onto dry skin it transforms into a thick white lather. Once you start rinsing with warm water, it transforms again into a light creamy foam.
Warning: Avoid direct contact with eyes.
SUNBURN ALERT: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothes, and limit sun exposure after using this product for a week afterwards.

Great for congested skin

"I’m a healthcare worker that enjoys trying and reviewing new beauty products. First of all I have to admit the beautiful glass bottle with the convenient pump. It compliments my vanity. Cleanser has watery texture and natural grassy like herbal scent. It almost doesn’t lather and easy to rub away through the fingers so I try to apply it in the middle of my palm. It gently cleanses without irritating my combination skin however it has a cooling sensation. My skin has been pretty congested lately and I was hoping this cleanser will help to clear it out and it did. After few weeks of use my skin looks clearer. It is formulated with natural BHA and AHA and I think it will work better for acne prone combination and oily skin types."

"I tried the clarifying cleanser by Tata Harper and really liked it for my pores and also my texture. It contains salicylic acid and glycolic acid. It is still super gentle on my skin. I love that it is also vegan and also contains herbs and plants. the cleanser is in a glass pump. I like that it’s easy to use and also dispense. I find that my skin feels soft and also clean. It is great to use when my skin feels dull and also makes it glow and not dry out. I like that brand for the clean and gentle skincare. My skin feels good and also the cleanser doesn’t make me breakout. I love that it is not drying. Overall it works well for my skincare routine. I like it and recommend giving it a try. I have combination dry skin and this works well for me"

I love everything from skincare, to hair care, makeup, and everything inbetween!I have naturally dry, red prone, acne prone skin. Daily cleanser for smooth texture!

"Glycolic acid and salicylic acid are main ingredients against acne. This powerful cleanser features both and targets acne causing dirt and bacteria while also balancing oil for a matte complexion. It also has chlorella in it for soothing redness and calming irritated skin therefore it is suitable for sensitive skin too! It contains prickly pear fruit enzymes to trigger the skin's natural cell renewal process. I recommend it for oily and combination skin, for those who are prone to acne. It is best to use it day and night. I love the smooth texture because it really highlights my skincare routine. My acneic skin has improved so much since I swapped out my cleanser to this. I have not had any acne in a while. Redness and irritation are also gone!"

I love the formula but not the scent

"I am a big fan of Tata Harper products and have never had any issues with any of them, but the scent of this one is a big turn-off for me personally. It performs amazingly and the formula is perfect for everyday use, it lathers well, removes makeup and grime easily, leaves my skin feeling so smooth and glowing I can’t deny any of that. I’ve also noticed that it balanced my skin’s oiliness and cleared my clogged pores (I usually have those little bumps under the skin that are hard to get rid of). However, the scent is the reason for my lower rating. It’s just too overpowering. While I love the herbal smell of all the other products, this particular one is too much. Other than that, it did exactly what it promised for acne, blemishes, and pores."

"Finally an answer to my hyperpigmentation! Ever since I gave birth to my son; I have been having issues with hyperpigmentation in one area of my face. This cleanser has dramatically reduced the visible signs of my hyperpigmentation. I love the smell and the way my skin reacts to the ingredients! The packaging is superb as it enables you to not over use or under use the product. I use this cleanser about 4 times a week to ensure accurate results. At the age of 35 I am a huge skin care fanatic! I highly recommend this product if you have problem skin. You will results within one week of use if used on a consistent routine!
