What is an undertone?

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage

Use soft, circular or back and forth windshield wiper motions to blend eyeshadow and contour the crease of the eye. To use with highlighter, gently sweep onto the high points of the face where light would naturally reflect.
To clean:
Dampen bristles.
Massage a mild soap into bristles and rise with warm water.
Lay flat until fully dry.

Solid, well rounded brush if you want one that does the job.

"I don't use a million shadow brushes (I usually end up using my fingers in my palettes), but this is a great "work horse" brush if you stay with one or two eye shadow shades, and just want something that blends and is easy to clean. Soft bristles, no fragrance on it, easy to grip. This is also great for beginners learning how to use eye makeup, and it's easy to wash out with specific brush cleaners, and you can spray Mist & Fix on it if you're going for a wet look. I'd dare to say if needed you could experiment with blush on this brush as well. Just a basic, no-frills, solid brush if you want a minimalist makeup kit. Would purchase again."
