What is an undertone?

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage

Using the Westman Atelier Powder Brush, swirl brush into bronzing powder and tap off excess.
Apply to neck and collarbones if they′re showing. Includes pouch

Pro-tip

Gucci Westman′s Tip: Sweep in a horizontal motion over the cheeks, eyelids, temples and forehead. Anywhere the sun would naturally hit. As a general rule do not go below the cheekbones.

"I have light neutral skin. The lightest shade turned orange on me and didn't look convincingly natural at all. It was not buttery at all either. . . . I swapped it for the new what's up beauty bronzer in 10 , and was much happier and money saved. Credo does have a very generous return policy, which I appreciate when this bronzer is so expensive!"

Works great, makes me itchy

"I love how this bronzer looks. Has a slight fragrance to it, but is not overpowering. Im not sure what is it in the powder, but my face is so itchy when I use it! Took me a few weeks of using it on and off to notice it was only on the days I used it that I was getting itchy. If it doesnt do that to you, its a beautiful consistency and wears well. Great product, but unfortunately not for me."

"I love anything Westman Atelier and when I saw a video of Martha Stewart hitting pan on this bronzer, I knew I had to have it. I can do without the heavy packaging but the bronzer itself is very fine milled and the color pay off is absolutely lovely. Pricey yes, but quality and quantity makes it all worth it."

I have all the Westman Atalier products except Beauty Butter Powder Bronzer and I see it has talc in it. I'm concerned about it because talc can be a carcinogen. What do you think about it? I'm loving her products but am concerned!
Hi! Talc is used in a range of consumer products, including color cosmetics and body (talcum) powders. There are two potential concerns regarding talc: 1) the risk of asbestos contamination and 2) the risk of small particles getting into the body through inhalation or perineal (genital) use of talc-based body powder. Credo does not carry talcum powder, and we ask companies using talc in cosmetics to obtain documentation that the talc they are purchasing has been tested for asbestos, and none was found, even at trace levels.
