An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.

Usage

After cleansing, toning, and hydrating, apply one to two pumps over the face and neck using gentle circular pressing motions. Recommended as part of a sun care routine to boost prevention of free radical development.

"After having a very strong allergic reaction to a well-known 15% vitamin C serum a few years prior, I tried this Josh Rosebrook serum in 2023. Coming back now, because I'm trying to review as much as I can. Honestly, for a vitamin C product, this was surprisingly gentle (no reaction!) and make my skin feel hydrated at the same time. I simply did not repurchase, because it has a pretty short shelf life, and I live in a warm climate, so I have switched to more affordable and stable antioxidant options. I could see it start to darken in the bottle. I'm saying I would recommend it, but it depends on where you live and how quickly you use products."
