What is an undertone?

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Each shade can be worn everywhere you are inspired to put it: lips, eyes and cheeks. Apply with fingertips, beauty sponges or brushes.

Rituel de Fille is inspired by the magical side of natural ingredients, where pigment is elemental, ceremonial and powerful. Rituel de Fille's lipsticks, lip sheers, eye soots and cream blushes are all carefully handcrafted for uniquely bold, lasting color. Every Rituel de Fille color is obsessively formulated in-house by the Ramos sisters to meet our exacting standards. We approach our formulation like potion-making: we carefully select each pigment, oil and wax for a clear purpose, and develop each color from the ground up to contain the fewest possible ingredients. We use nothing extraneous, and avoid fillers.

"I admit that I got totally influenced from Instagram for this purchase. The ads were so cute and the esthetic was gorgeous. I didn’t have high expectations but WOW! moth might be the colour of my dreams that I didn’t know I needed in my life. I have very dark brown hair, light brown eyes with pale skin and neutral undertones. Moth makes my skin look alive! I also love that I can swipe it on my cheeks, lips and eyes for a look that isn’t overdone, natural with a hint of Je ne sais quoi.
