An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage

Take a deep breath and become present.
Section wet hair.
Distribute 1 to 2 pumps into hands and awaken the formula by rubbing palms together. Apply from roots to ends.
Diffuse, air or blow dry to define texture and style.
Your beautifully styled hair is a reflection of you.

● A little goes a long way! Use with plenty of water or on soaked hair for even distribution and to save on product usage.
● For best results, apply in sections, adding water as you work from roots to ends.
● For long lasting and defined curls, layer I Create Hold underneath I Create Lift Volumizing Foam for medium hold, or I Create Definition for maximum hold.

good hold without too much crunch

"At first I didn't like it, it didn't seem to be doing much but I kept trying as I loved the very subtle spa scent and the fact that it seemed very lightweight and didn't create too much of a cast. I quickly realized I hadn't used enough product, and now it's working great for me, tames the frizz, keeps my hair softer for longer. It doesn't create too much of a cast, but the trade-off is that It's not the best at keeping my curls in shape for days."

Great for medium hold without crunch

"I have 1C hair that’s mid-length. I like to emphasize the slight texture I have with leave in cream or light gel. I used to use JVN leave in cream, which I liked overall but was looking for a little more hold and less scent. So far I’ve liked this as a replacement! Very different texture during application since it’s a gel (sticky instead of creamy) but I like the slightly stronger hold and gentle citrus scent that doesn't linger. First few times I had some crunch that I scrunched out easily after my hair was completely dry, but have now learned how to apply more evenly for very little crunch. Has worked well for air drying or diffusing. I also have a sensitive scalp and haven’t experienced any irritation!"
