What is an undertone?

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage

Apply 1-2 pumps to clean wet skin to allow for complete absorption.
Suggested that persons with very dehydrated skin mix 1-2 drops of serum with a facial oil or layer with moisturizer to seal in hydration. This minor enhancement may result in a better oil-water balance in the skin and stretches the product for additional uses.

"I added this to my routine this past winter because my skin felt so dry. I wanted to layer it underneath a thicker moisturizer, and I did that twice a day. For the price, I actually found that it did nothing. You are 100% better off buying a much cheaper hyaluronic acid serum, and using that instead. Even with consistency, over a misting toner, underneath a good cream, my skin never felt hydrated."
