This luxurious lip palette contains four vibrant shades packed with 16.5% cold-pressed cherry oil and firming peptides that leave lips nourished and plumped. Ultra-flattering rouge shades – in fuchsia, brick, tomato red and warm dusty rose – can be worn alone or custom mixed for endless possibilities. Matte suede texture made with 100% natural pigments and petrolatum-free base conditions lips.

Key ingredients

Biomimetic peptides: Boosts collagen production, lip volume, hydration, and softness.
Cold pressed cherry oil: 16.5% concentration to strengthen moisture retention. Rich in antioxidants Vitamin A & E, and Omega 3 & Omega 6 oils.
Sunflower seed wax: A vegan wax, loaded with fatty acids, to smooth texture and strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier.
Carnuba wax: A vegan wax, loaded with fatty acids, that provides a smooth texture. Strengthens the moisture barrier and holds pigment in place.
Marula oil: Supports skin from environmental stressors and provides essential fatty acids for healthy skin.

What is an undertone?

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage

For a precise and defined lip application, use Westman Atelier Lip Brush (sold separately).
Use finger to blot Lip Suede from the palette onto the lips for a more subtle, diffused application.

I like it but my favorite shade (second from the top) is gloopy.

"I've had the nudes compact for a while and used it so much I'm just about finished with the second refill. I like a red lip so thought I'd try this compact out as well. Firstly, I think all of the colors are lovely and go together extremely well. However, I think there might be something wrong with the second shade from the top in my compact. It's gloopy and doesn't glide the way the other three shades do. Almost acts expired??? I can still make it work but only if I mix it with another slippy or oily lip product. So it's still usable but since it's my favorite color, it's a bit of a bummer."

Four in One, but pack lip balm

"This compact is a great way to carry four lipsticks in your bag without the clutter. The compact is quite heavy, but it is refillable and there is a nice mirror. The colors are long-wearing, highly pigmented and can be mixed, but you will need to purchase a separate lip brush. I was expecting the product to feel hydrating, but it does not - I must apply lip balm before using. All in all, this is a great product once you procure the right tools for application and learn how to use it."

Good color, container not ideal

"I bought this thinking i would never use the fuchia but it's the only color in here i do use! Planning to mix with other colors in the palette next time :) Only complaints are that it's really hard to open and it's quite sticky so when you rub a lip brush (not included, unfortunately) across the color you want to use, it spins the tray around inside the container. Color looks great on and stays on for a long time, but with such a pretty case (and expensive palette) I wish it would function a bit better."

"I’m a big fan of other Westman Atelier products but will be returning this one. First of all, the compact is impossible to open (unless perhaps you have very long finger nails). I’m surprised others haven’t mentioned this unless I got a faulty one? Second, the product itself is too dry on my lips for my liking. The colors are beautiful and they’re pigmented, I’ll give it that much."
