An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

horrible smell

"I have several other osea products that I love and have re-purchased so I was excited to try this cleanser. Unfortunately the smell is so bad and so strong that Ive barely used it in the several months that Ive had it, and when I do use it I hold my breath to avoid smelling it (which sounds dramatic—Im usually not particularly sensitive to fragrances but it really is that bad). Im not sure if I just got unlucky with a bad batch or something? For the cleansing aspect of it, it seems fine but overall I wouldnt recommend this one."

"Love this cleanser! I have incredibly sensitive skin that breaks out easily with new products. I have been using this consistently for over 6 months now and it truly is my favorite clean/non-tox cleanser. So sad

"I've been a customer since 2018 and this has always been a product I restock on and have loved. . . until now. The most recent batch I received has such an unpleasant scent, almost rotten seaweed fragrance. I understand it's all natural but this is too much and again, nearly 10 years and never had this version. It is changing my whole face wash experience to the point I rush to use it so that it's over with. Every other time it had that fresh and wonderful smell that others are referring to. I want it back but am so scared to get this yucky version again. (Since I already received 2. ) I reached out to customer service but was just brushed off and given the variation in batches excuse. I highly doubt if anyone got the same batch I did they would repurchase and I wish Osea cared a bit more about that. I had to leave a review to be real and not have other people experience what I am. There is a chance you'll get a not-so-great batch. I want the product I know and love."
