An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.

Usage

Apply 2-3 pumps of Slip Tint™ Tinted Moisturizer over or instead of moisturizer.

Apply with The Big Brush (sold separately) or with fingertips (one to two pumps should do it, no shaking required).

Blend all over until fully absorbed.

Pro-tip

Hand application: Warm Slip Tint in hands and press into skin for a natural, second skin effect.

Rule of thumb: 2 pumps for oily skin, 3 pumps for dry skin.

"The texture is really elegant, and it wears really nicely throughout the day. It does have a lil bit of an every so slightly unpleasant scent but it goes away immediately. use this for the zinc oxide and glowy finish

"I have some melasma I'm trying to stop from getting worse. So first I layer my tinted chemical sunscreen with iron oxides and when that dries, I layer this tinted moisturizer that contains zinc on top. That way I'm totally covered! And it provides a glowy finish. Coverage is light on my medium-toned skin."

"I have only been using this for a couple of weeks but I do like how light it is and the sheer coverage. I did take off one star because it has a strange scent. It smells slightly rancid. The odor dissipates very quickly though so it is fine. If not, I would not be able to use it."

Still deciding!

"The smell is not great and very strong! However, it quickly dissipates. I love this brand but even despite getting a consultation at the store, I think I have the incorrect shade. I have a neutral yellow undertone and the number seven shade is still too red (hence four stars!). Sigh. Need to return to the store to get the correct shade. I love this brand and it’s worth every penny or the hassle of getting the shade correct in my case."

Great Great Lightweight Coverage, But Runs Slightly Dark

"I’ve been really liking this skin tint overall. The formula is lightweight with just the right amount of coverage—it evens out my skin without feeling heavy or cakey. One thing to note is the shade runs a little dark. I’m usually a medium in most products, but in this one I had to go with light to medium for a better match. I have oily skin, and as long as I set it, it holds up really well and lasts all day without breaking down. Definitely a solid option if you want something natural-looking but still effective."
