An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage

Apply liberally on wet or dry scalp or beard 1-2 times per day. Distribute evenly by gently massaging into skin with fingertips and allow to dry. Results may vary. Because hair growth cycles take at least 1 to 4 months, it may take a few months before you see effects.

Arey | 'a-ray': Derived from the French word arrêt, meaning “stop". Known as The Wrinkle Cream of Haircare™, Arey is the first functional beauty brand to target aging hair with a proactive, science-driven approach. The seedling for Arey originated when our co-founder Allison Conrad saw her first grey hairs, which prompted her to question why there wasn’t an alternative to accepting it, or covering it up with chemical dyes that have been shown to increase the risk of cancer. Thus began a journey with her beloved hairstylist Jay Small, who shared the same passion for creating a solution to a problem he's seen many times over with his clients over the past 20 years. I think its working

"I hit perimenopause a year ago and starting losing a ton of hair At first I didnt think there was anything I could do about it but then I invested in an expensive exosome serum and it was reviving an impressive number of follicles and restoring pigment in about a fifth of them But the exosomes were costing about four hundred dollars a month Just not sustainable for my budget Then 2 months ago I found the To The Root serum and having been using it 45 days a week and using the exosome serum once a week I think the To The Root serum is already doing better at restoring pigment Not sure about reviving as many follicles but Im going to stick with this routine for at least several more months and I have a lot of hope"

Nice serum

"I wish I had taken before pictures when I started 6 months ago, but am 45, and starting to grey around my face and hairline, so I have been using this since June. I like the consistency; it does not make my hair greasy or filmy, and I'm very sensitive to hair products causing breakouts, this does not break me out either. Would recommend. I think I have less grey, than I did 6 months ago, but I've been using the whole system and my hair texture is definitely less wire-y."
