What is an undertone?

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Glide onto lips. Wear alone or over any RMS Beauty lip product for a natural gloss finish. Use the RMS custom key (sold separately, also can be used for Eyelights) when you are a quarter of the way through to squeeze out every last bit and prepare tube for recycling

"I wish this was a tiny bit less messy to apply on my relatively thin lips but it still gets 5 stars because it is one of my favorite formulas ever. I don't think I've used anything quite so hydrating before without giving the super glossy wet look, which I don't love. This really isn't a lip gloss—just a super thick, rich, hydrating swipe of color. Gorgeous and feels so nourishing. In the more pigmented shades, I do think it would apply best with a lip brush or alongside a liner. I will add the bare shade to my collection soon because I don't think it requires as much precision!"

Would love an applicator, great lip color

"I got this as part of a free gift with purchase. The color (Babette) is gorgeous and it has decent staying power - it leaves a stain which I love. My only complaint is that I have to apply it with my finger or a lip brush (which I don't have because anything you have to apply with a brush is too finicky for me!) I also wouldn't consider it a lip gloss but more of a paste if that makes sense - it's not that shimmery or smooth like a traditional lip gloss."

"I love RMS, but this one is a no for me. The lip gloss feels thick and cakey on my lips and doesn’t spread easily, so it takes more effort than I’d expect for a gloss. As for the peptides, I didn’t notice any visible plumping or volume increase at all. I usually love RMS formulas, but this one just didn’t work for me."

Love this lip gloss

"RMS beauty's liplights is one of the best glosses I've used. It goes on thick, is very moisturizing, not sticky at all and has great color payoff. I have several colors. Crush is my favorite nude lip look but still has great color. My recent purchase was Chameleon. It's so fun but turns a super vibrant pink. Definitely for someone wanting a statement look but so fun for spring. I hope they come out with more ph-changing colors, in particular a darker berry would be nice. Chameleon is the only one (I think) with a lip-gloss top, meaning you can apply it directly. The rest have a flat top and I apply with my finger. I wish they all had the lip-gloss top. Also the tubes are metal and so can be a bit annoying but I'm fine with the tradeoff since they are recyclable."
