Bora Bora Candle

The Product Is: a fragranced candle formulated with a plant-based blend of soy & coconut wax

Why We Love It:The Le Paradis Bora Bora Candle features soft, tropical notes of frangipani and tiaré blossoms (the national flower of French Polynesia), warmly layered with coconut oil and jasmine. The scent is designed to envelop and transport you to the South Pacific island of Bora Bora, where honeymooners are discreetly tucked away in overwater bungalows, and the ocean feels like a giant swimming pool. Infused with the smell of 'vacation,' it's like a postcard from paradise.

Approximately 70 hours of burn time.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.  Keep away from things that catch fire.  Keep away from children & pets. Trim wick to 1/8" prior to each lighting. Burn candle for no more than 3 hours at a time. Keep wax pool free of debris. Keep the wick centered after each burn. Avoid drafts. Always burn on a stable and heat-resistant surface. Container may become hot while burning. Do not move container while the wax is liquid. Stop burning candle when the wax reaches 1/2" from bottom of container.

Essential Oils

Authentic essential oils are physically extracted by steam or expression (cold pressing) of the skin of the fruit. Essential oils have not been chemically altered (via reaction, solvent extraction) from their natural state.

Certified Organic Fragrance

Certified Organic Fragrance

A blend of essential oils (see above) derived from plants that are grown in accordance with the USDA National Organic Program.

Natural Fragrance

Natural Fragrance

Natural fragrances are mixtures of aromatic raw materials. As opposed to a whole essential oil found in a plant, these chemicals are physically isolated from natural compounds, then blended together to create a scent. If only natural isolates are used, companies can declare the scent “natural.”

Naturally-Derived Fragrance

Naturally-Derived Fragrance

Fragrance ingredients that have been extracted using solvents (alcohol, petrochemicals, vegetable oils), or extracted by fermentation, or ingredients which may have a natural component but have been significantly processed.

Synthetic Fragrance

Unfragranced/Unscented

Ingredients which are new molecules, made in a laboratory. The majority of synthetic constituent ingredients are from petroleum byproducts. Synthetic “nature-identical” ingredients fall into this category as well. Credo allows synthetic fragrances as long as there are no Dirty List components.

What's Behind "Fragrance"?

US law does not require that companies be transparent about the ingredients in fragrance/parfum. Credo believes in your right-to-know. We require all brands to categorize the fragrance in each product (see chart above), and encourage brands to fully disclose all scent ingredients.

All products are cruelty-free and formulated without ingredients on The Dirty List™️. At Credo, "clean" goes even deeper. Learn more.
